Does the jeep wrangler unlimited drive smoothly?
i currently drive a toyota rav 4, which is small enough for me and drives like a car. im thinking about buying the jeep wrangler unlimited, but what do you jeep owners think? does it drive smoothly or is it bumpy? is the soft top cold during the winter east coast months?
I have a 2009 black wrangler unlimited with half doors. I am looking to trade someone for 4 full metal doors.?
Do regular jeep wrangler half doors fit unlimited wranglers.. or do they make special sizes?

I'm looking at a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited with the following mods?
cold air intake, 33" tires 2" lift, banks exhust, winch, etc... What can I expect for gas mileage? Will these tires affect the overall driveability of the vehicle? Will the average maintenence costs be more? I am a pretty normal driver. I don't beet my vehicles. Anyone own anything like this? How do they drive on the highway?

What did you do?The Jeep did it completely stock, they replaced the Steering stabilizer,2 weeks after had that done I went with a 2.5 Skyjacker lift, just shocks and springs. I also installed a Skyjacker H D Stabilizer. The Jeep will still DW at speeds above 50mph,when you hit a bump. I got it aligned last Fri they said the ball joints on the right side upper and lower were worn. This is a reputable shop that is known by my dealer. Talked to dealer today,and he looked at it,and did a State inspection. He said his Tech didnt see anything wrong with them. Hmmm??? WTF. Oh well its still under warranty so I have a little while longer before is gonna cost me. Has anyone else had this happen, stock or lifted?
What is the best place to find a 2.5" red coil lift for my 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited?

Jeep Sahara Unlimited is it okay to keep the soft top on all the time with the hard top?
We just bought a Jeep Sahara with the soft top installed on it, right now we have the hard top on can we leave both on at the same time or will it ruin the soft top.I read the manual and it says to take the soft top off when not in use because it could get damaged. I saw some pictures that show the soft top on what should we do take it off and store it for the summer or can we leave it on permanently

I have the option to purchase one of two Jeep Rubicons. Both are 2006, but one is the Unlimited SE edition and the other is a standard Rubicon. What are the advantages of each? I would be doing some off roading with plenty of city driving. I don't understand what advantages the longer wheel base of the unlimited has to offer.The Unlimited has 18,000 miles, but costs $2k more than the regular rubicon that has 30,000 miles .

05 Jeep Unlimited on a long road trip?
I've got a 05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 50k on it. Me and the wife are wanting to take a road trip from Arkansas to California. I've got 33" tires, cold air, throttle body spacer, and exhaust. I was just curious what you other Jeep owners thought. Am I crazy for wanting to drive it out to California or would I be perfectly fine with it?It does have a hard top. and i do have an alarm on. if that helps your guys opinouns.Weve driven out there in my avalanche i used to have with 20,s and never had a theft problem.
