1990 jeep bounce some ideas off me?
Umm it starts but I touch the breaks and it dies I turn on the inside lights it dies I turn on the cd player it dies Im going down the road normally it tries to die but re starts its self somehow most of the time... it just doesn't like using to much power or something Im at a stand still and I just spent the better part of 100$ filling the gas tank. Oh and its not the ignition already checked and has a brand new battery
Looking for speakers for my jeep...?
I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X i'm looking for some upgrades to the original factory speakers. I want upgrades to all the speakers, but I also want to introduce a subwoofer. The one I've seen that looks relatively easy is the one here quadratec.com products 14136 310X A PG.htm but I honestly know nothing about audio, especially not in a car.It has an amp built in and it seems pretty obscure so it might not be so likely to be stolen in a Jeep Wrangler with the top off.However, I really just want what'd be best sound. I don't think I'd be able to get a different subwoofer if it weren't that, but I could upgrade the speakers already in the car, but then I'd have to get an amp and all that.What do you guys think? Honestly, don't expect that I know anything cause I honestly don't hahaha
My 1998 jeep cherokee will not start up, anybody know whats wrong?
Every morning, it starts up the first time but when I go to start it up the second time it doesn't start up. All the gauges and lights turn on so its not a problem with the battery. The engine doesn't crank or anything. But the weird thing is, it starts up the first time and all other times, it just doesn't start up the second time.

Jeep Wrangler Sahara 1998 Automatic No Forward or Reverse Help!?
Whilst traveling forwards approx 10mph with one hand resting on gear selector I was forced to slam on the brakes, in doing so I accidentally put the selector into reverse. When I went to pull away again it took a few moments before it started to move, felt like a manual with a slipping clutch. I pulled up again 50yds further on, went to pull away again car shuddered as I did so. Managed to go another 100yds at a walking pace before I lost all forward and reverse drive irrespective of selector position. Car is sitting outside my house looking sad. Ive noticed that with the engine running, if I go through P, R, N 1,2,3 The revs drop a bit and the engine sounds feels as though its gone into gear, but no amount of revving produces movement. I've also tried doing the same whilst going through 2WD, 4WDL, 4WDH All with the same results as above. Checked transmission fluid that looks fine and smells ok. Recovery driver checked prop shaft and said that was ok, Is there anything I can check myself? I would appreciate any help and advice as to what I might be facing. Thanks
2000 Jeep having trouble starting. Please Help!?
My 2000 Jeep Cherokee has been having trouble starting. It usually takes two times for me to start my car. It especially has trouble starting when it has been sitting for a while, like when I try starting it in the morning or after a movie. I just replaced the battery and spark plugs.What can I do to fix this problem?
1996 Jeep Cherokee headlight problem?
My headlights stopped working. They do however work on high beam ONLY if you hold the dimmer switch in position. I'm thinking it could not be fuses since they do work on high beam. I'm also thinking it's not the headlight switch since again they do work to some degree. Am I right in assuming that it's the dimmer switch on the steering column? If so, how much of a job is it for the average Joe to replace this switch?
Clicking Noise in 2006 Grand Jeep Cherokee?
We have just purchased a 2006 Grand jeep cherokee 3.0L CRD. We started it up one morning and it started to make a loud clicking noise. I have read that it can be the oil? But am unsure. It is now overdue for a service so this may very well be the case.Do you know if it is okay to be driven? and if there could be any other issues making this noise?We have it booked in for a service on Monday, when it warmed up it stopped. Does this sound like a service problem?
Jeep wrangler takes a while to start?
My 2004 Tj wrangler take a while to turn over after in the morning when it's cold or when I haven't driven it in a few hours. My friend said fuel injector cleaner would help but I havent had any luck with it any suggestions?

How do I jump fan to check radiator fan motor on 2003 Jeep Liberty 3.7L V6?
My fan isn't coming on at all and so the engine overheats. How do I jump the fan to check the fan motor? I don't have an ohmmeter and have read about how to hook it up to the battery but I can't find instructions to do it. I need a diagram of which wires go where or really simple instructions.I have a thermostat and relay if these need to be changed out. But if I check the motor then I know it's probably the relay. Right?There is a small leak in the top driver's side of the radiator. I'm changing the radiator out but that's not causing the overheating because I'm barely losing any coolant. The coolant just gets so hot it's bubbling. I'm just realizing that I can repair some things myself. Thanks to the internet the big metal jigsaw of moving things under the hood is no longer a thing of mystery. I changed out my water pump thanks to an excellent youtube video. I'm confident that I know my limits and I think I can do this without ruining anything. If there is anything I haven't asked or thought about please let me know. Keep it simple Lol.Oh dear, I'm not getting it. Could you be a bit more descriptive? Fan side? What other side is there? Fan plug? What does that look like? How do I make sure I have grounded the wire?
