How high can u make jeeps yjs with the leaf spring suspensions?
Hi well i have a 87 yj and right now its 2.5 inches lifted so i was just wondering how much higher i can make it with the leaf spring it already has and how much it would approximate be without labor but just for the parts.. thanks

My jeep cherokee has differential problem i am told.when i hit a bump this thumping loud noise comes on.?
i just changed my draft shaft and its still there.i go over a little bump and this loud banging noise is coming from under my truck in the back..as soon as i put it in reverse and back in drive it goes away until of course i catch another bump.please help...hey guys thanks for all the answers.i brought it in today when it was making noise.the wire from my hand brake was loose and when i hit a bump it would get close to driveshaft and get caught in there.thats where the noise was coming form.when putting it in reverse they told me it would untie itself.SO FROM BEING TOLD IT WAS A DRIVE SHAFT,THEN THE DIFFERENTIAL AND OTHERS TOLD ME TRANSFER CASE IT TURNS OUT TO BE A LOOSE WIRE.UNBELIEVABLE.THX GUYS

I replaced the magnetic pickup, rotor, distributor,coil.the jeep will crank over but will not fire. I have also checked the main fuse block all fuses and relays good. traced it back to no power before the coil.dont know where to go from here any suggestion would be helpful. thank you

we have done a tune up,put on a new rotor button and new dist.cap,replaced the cat,and it still act like it is out of time.we know that its not because it only when it comes up to temp.when it reaches temp,it spits and sputters,then back fires through the carb.....please help us we are at a loss..oh we also checked the choke

My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee seems to be locked in 4 wheel drive. Anytime I make a turn the tires squeal, and when I park the Jeep seems to lurch forward, even when the engine is turned off. And now, something new is happening, when I take my foot off the gas my RPMs go up....its almost like the Jeep is switching gears just as I take my foot off the gas. I know there was a recall on " POWER TRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION LEVER AND LINKAGE FLOOR SHIFT" .I am female but I'm not an idiot. The dealer I take the Jeep too just told me it would be expensive to fix, patted me on the head and sent me home. I wish they had at least given me the option to make a choice on my own instead of treating me as if it was too complicated to explain.Can anyone out there help me? Links would be awesome, but I would love someones input on this problem. Preferably someone who owns a Jeep or has some background on car repair. Thank you. < 3I was told since I wasn't the original owner of the Jeep that I no longer qualify for the recall repairs. Is that right?

Where is the condenser fan fuse and relay located on a 1999 Grand Jeep Cherokee?
I'm trying to get the A C to work on this SUV but I cannot get the condenser fan to come on.It's not getting power at the connector. I also cannot locate the fuse and or relay. Everything A C related is working fine but the fan just wont come on. Thanks
