Why wont 95 jeep grand cherokee radio not work?

Question: Why wont 95 jeep grand cherokee radio not work?

(Posted by: Kendra P on 2010-02-08 10:42:51)

My brother broke the back light in the interior of my car, and I tried to put the light back in their correctly, and it caused the radio to shut off. So, the lights in the inside of the car are not working, and neither is the Radio. What could be the problem and how do I go about Fixing it?

It sounds like the fuse has blown..but it might not be that easy. A fuse is there to protect the circuitry from a short to ground. If you tried to fix the light you may have pinched a wire and it is grounding out. If that is the case you will just blow another fuse until you fix the wire. Try taking the light back off and looking to see if there is a wire broken, or crushed.

Check your fuses. Should be down by your left foot on the drivers side.
