How big of a lift for a jeep will i need for 35"+ tires?

Question: How big of a lift for a jeep will i need for 35"+ tires?

I have a 1997 jeep tJ with 30 x 9.50 R15 tires right now and im lookin to throw some 35 " or 38 " on her How much, if at all, of a lift will i need first? thanks!

4 " or higher a long arm would be better to run that size tire...

A 6 " lift will clear 37's 4 " will clear 35's There are many ways to lift a TJ. Long arm is the best if you do a lot of off roading A standard suspension lift is another way to lift it with a decent ride A body lift is another way to get 1-3 " of lift, but I do not recommend it. You can also do a 2 " body lift with a coil spacer and clear 35's 3 " body lift with 4 " coils and longer lower control arms will clear 38's no problem It all depends on how you will use the Jeep and your budget
