Is a black jeep liberty a feminine car?
What is wrong with my 2002 Jeep Liberty?
I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty LE and seem to have a problem and I am not sure if its something to get all worked up over or not. It doesn't happen all the time and honestly, you only really hear it when the car is going 15 40 MPH. Anything below or above that, it doesn't do it. But when I am going in that speed range, I hear a rotational clicking sound, it sounds like its coming from my front passenger side tire. It's just a constant noise, sounds almost as if there is a pebble stuck inside the tire as it is just a constant noise coming from that part of the vehicle. I have newer tires on the vehicle 6 months or so and just recently took them to get checked out after the vehicle started doing it at the store where I had my tires installed, they took it off and checked it out and found nothing. I'm just trying to figure out if this is something I need to be getting worried about or not. It's been something that the jeep has been doing even when I had my old tires on there but it was a rare occurrence so I didn't think much of it. But now that its happening more often, its starting to set off an alarm within me. Can anybody relate with this issue or at the very least, tell me what it could be? I don't want to take it to the Jeep Dealer and pay $125 just to have it looked at only to find out its something stupid that I am able to fix myself rather than pay them to find the problem and THEN more to fix whatever it may be. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank YouPS I do not and very RARELY drive the vehicle in 4WD so it can't have anything to do with that.
Jeep Liberty, which one?
I am trying to decided between two used 2008 Jeep Libertys. I have two offers on them, both about the same price. The first one is silver, 2WD sport, just the standard model. It has 37,000 miles. It is like new. The second one is jeep green metallic, 4WD sport, it has the towing package as well. I like some of the features of this one, power seats, compass and themo, tinted windows, but here is the catch, it has 56,000 miles. It doesn't look brand new but still looks very nice. I was just wondering if I could get some info on both the 4WD and 2WD sports, pros and cons, and if those extra 20,000 miles will come back to hurt me. I plan on having the car for at least 8 10 years. So I would appreciate some pros and cons and some advice on my decision. Thanks.
Jeep Liberty Automatic Transmission shifting hard?
I purchased the truck used a couple months ago and I have driven a manual for so long I don't know if what im feeling is quite normal. The transmission on my 06 Jeep liberty doesn't like to shift into 2nd gear easily even if im accelerating slow it has to reach 2,000 rpm to shift from first to second. I often find my self going short distances like from the driveway to the end of the street all in first gear. Shouldn't it be downshifting sooner if im not pounding on the gas? The dipstick looked like it was just a tiny bit low on fluid it was between the 3rd hole and 4th hot with the engine running yea I bought a extended warranty from the dealer but I havn't been able to get any information on how that works but I still hope it's nothing too serious.
2003 Jeep Liberty Parts - Name?
I was in an accident and my rear slammed into a wall. Because of this, I need to have my rear door replaced so my spare can fit back on it. The problem I'm having is finding one of these parts. The only doors I can find are the front and back drivers passengers. Nothing about my rear door that swings open and the window lifts up.What is the name of this part? I've looked everywhere, but can find nothing, but the side doors.
How can I tell which O2 sensor is bad for my 2004 Jeep Liberty?
I had a diagnostic check done by NTB for a check engine light, which reveiled a bad 02 sensor, but not which sensor was bad. I would like to replace it myself to save money, how can I tell which one it is? Thanx
How do I know if a Jeep Liberty has limited slip front and rear differentials?
I'm looking at used Jeep Liberties and want one with limited slip differentials. Is there a website that I can put in the vin that will tell you the options it has? Was limited slip part of any of the levels sport, limited, renegade, ect or part of any package groups of options?I guess I could do a small peel out or two and see if I get one or two rubber marks, but that is a last resort, and it will only determine the rear differential, not the front. Thanks in advance for the help.I guess
2007 Jeep Liberty front brakes, soft pedal?
I replaced the front rotors and bake pads. I compressed the calipers just like any other vehicle I have ever done. Now on completing the job, I have a very spongy brake pedal. I bled all the brakes once and the front ones a second time. Clear fluid both times, no air. Is there something special to do when changing brakes or could I have done something to the master cylinder when I compressed the calipers? I have done this many times before on other vehicles with good results. This one has me stumped.... Any suggestions?
Is a 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade a good car?
I found a 2004 jeep liberty renegade with less than 50,000 miles on it. i think that it looks nice, but some people say that it is a girl car and being a 16 year old boy i want to get some other opinions. What do you think of this car, what other ones would you recommend? Thanks
How can a Jeep Liberty replacement part NOT work in my 2002 model?
I hope someone can help me out there. My 2002 Jeep Liberty overheated so we took it in and got it fixed so we thought. Also had to fix t some other stuff that put us up to $1200, so then they found a connector that had melted b c of the over heating which made sense to me, so they ordered that and said it was going to be $200 more. Sucked it up and said okay, well now the dealership said that the connector package had a warning on it that said NOT to use with a 2002 model. So they said they would have to redo my electrical wiring to update it... $2,400.00 Why would Jeep not have a replacement part that work with an older model? Is it just me or is it this weird?
