Question: Is a jeep grand wagoneer a good offroad truck?

My buddy just got one. He gave it a leaf over lift and put 37' tires on it and so far he loves it.

Depends on the year. I owned two of them, older ones, they were great offroad but nightmares from hell for maintenance.

Not really. It's more like a poor compromise between a luxury car and a sort-of off-road vehicle. And it's overpriced as well. If you want a real off-road vehicle, get one of the older LandRovers or a Toyta landrover.

Jeep is good but i own a jeep wrangler and i love it. i know jeeps are tough and so i would say yes it is a good of rood suv

Yes it is. That if it is between the years 1963-1991. The SJ is the best at off road. I own three SJ Wagoneers and will put them up against any off road vehicle. I may not win, but, I will not make it easy for them. I can crawl rocks and any terrain. Land Rover, what a joke. British made overpriced station wagon. IF you mean the 1993 and later models. NO! The ZJ Jeeps suck and will always suck. They are full of electrical problems and now that they are getting older, all sorts of problems are happening to them. Better off getting a pre 1993 model. Lots of places to get parts, as most are interchangeable with CJ's and Wranglers. Any full size Jeep, whether it be a Pre 1984 Cherokee, J10, J20, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer: Is a good choice and will make you proud. You will also get lots of attention with one as well. Good Luck!
