Wrangler was built specifically in mind to go off road. Pickups and suvs have off roading as an added feature but is not there main purpose. These truck and suvs are designed for hauling more than off roading. |

In my opinion yes if they are setup for it. many are pretty lame in some ways. i think id take an old ford bronco over a jeep. (personal preference) jeep built their rep on off road stuff mostly so people associate it to jeep more. ill bet the old scouts from International will go anywhere a jeep will. |

It's hard to beat the approach, breakover, and departure angles of a Wrangler with any full-size SUV. The shorter wheelbase helps a lot. |

It depends on the application. I have 2 Jeeps that are great for trail rides over rough terrain. However, for off road drag racing or hill climbs, I would prefer my Chevy diesel that puts out 400 horesepower and 800 pounds of torque. I'm talking about stock vehicles, not trailer queens. |
