How much to replace rotors on '06 Jeep wrangler rubicon?
so my sister needs to get her rotors fixed and said she got quoted to fix them for $800. That seems a little ridiculous. Rotors cost about $40 a piece...so is it possible to be quoted that high?I replaced my rotors on my BMW myself for $150 and it took me about an hour to do...I looked at auto zone and each rotor costs $32. I told her she could replace them herself...but I doubt she'd want to take the chance at doing it. I also recommended that she buy the rotors and find a shop or person that would just charge her labor to do it.

I have imported a 2004 jeep rubicon from the usa , it was lifted ect., after getting it to canada i find out i am not able to get an import inspection on a modified vehicle.My question is... if i find a shop to lift my rubicon body off of the suspenion what models of stock jeeps will it fit on ? I will be doing this to get my inspection ,once that is done i will switch my rubicon body back to the modified suspenion . I dont care if the vehicle i have to purchase is 2 wheel or 4 wheel just need to open up my options and know that if i buy a tj, sport or yj that the bodys will switch , i think this is my easiest option other than vin swap which is not an etical option.
Which is better? A Jeep 2006 TJ Rubicon or a 2006 Rubicon Unlimited?
I have the option to purchase one of two Jeep Rubicons. Both are 2006, but one is the Unlimited SE edition and the other is a standard Rubicon. What are the advantages of each? I would be doing some off roading with plenty of city driving. I don't understand what advantages the longer wheel base of the unlimited has to offer.The Unlimited has 18,000 miles, but costs $2k more than the regular rubicon that has 30,000 miles .

Question about RPM's on 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon?
I have had my Rubicon up to around 90 on the highway a couple of times in 6th gear. Both time the RPM gage went crazy right at 90mph and the engine just reved and RPM needle went up suddenly. Is there like a cutoff on these Rubicons. Are they not supposed to be driven that fast? Something to do with the gearing or something?

does anybody know about how much a used Jeep Wrangler Rubicon King cost? or just about the average cost of a jeep wrangler thats used? it doesn't have to be in the best condition. just so long as it runs nicely. average price?
