Question: Have a question for all you wrangler and rubicon owners. if you how many times have you had someone....?

...bother, or take something from your jeep when you had the top removed. For instance you ran inside Walmart to get a few groceries only to return to find that someone took something out of your jeep (the mats, a speaker, the radio, ect....), or maybe they just did something petty to it like throwing their drink in your jeep, or throwing some garbage in it, cutting the seats, ect.... Just wanting to know how often this sort of stuff happens. The only things that worries me about getting a jeep is this sort of stuff. Obviously if you have to drive with the top on all the time it sort of voids the reason for getting a jeep in the first place. Thanks.

They can do this to you if you have a soft top too. anyone with a knife has a key to it. if you are worried get a hard top and lock it. never had anybody mess with mine.

I'm 48 now so I leave my hard top on at all times. But when I was a teen growing up in WV nobody messed with my Jeep when I had the top off.

Haven't had any problems with mine. The windows and doors are off all the time.

I have never had a stranger do anything to my Jeep when the top is off or the windows are out. For a while I actually carried my windows around with me so I could put them back on in case of rain. And no one every took them. The only thing I have had done is a jealous b**** threw garbage in it, and tried to jam a car key through my side window. But I have never had anything stolen or damaged by someone I didn't know was doing it. I just keep the glove box, center console and trunk locked up just in case. I have had my top off since early April and it will stay off until October rain or shine.
