How do i find out what axels my 98 jeep wrangler sahara edition has?
i bought it used with a 6in lift and put on 35in tires. i heard theres a way you can tell by looking at the bolt holes on the diff? if thats true then how can i tell what axel it has just by looking at it? every bit of info helps thanks
1998 Jeep wrangler sahara serpentine belt question?
The Serpentine belt on my 1998 jeep wrangler snapped due to a seized ac pump. I was wondering if i can just get a non ac belt for my jeep 4.0 liter and have it put on to bypass the ac since i cant afford to have ac work done. A mechanic told me it is impossible due to different engine configurations, but my diagram in the jeep shows a guideline for both ac and non ac belts, so i think he is giving me the runaround, or he doesnt understand the question i was asking him. thanks for the help

i have been researching purchasing a newer 07 08 jeep wrangler 4dr sahara maybe unlimited X if the price is right, i will most likely go through a dealership.I have only purchased onl one other vehicle on my own, and did my research on it and was able to talk them down quite a bit from kbb nada this was in july of 2007 what is a reasonable amount to ask on a unlimited sahara around these years they normally blue book at 24,000 28,000 for dealership?i ultimately want to walk out the door between 20500, 22,000, i just am not sure if this is a reasonable request, but due to the economy and how selling new cars is down maybe it is?i live in the northwest of washington state so i dont know if that helps at all in helping me with demand and all that..i have several reasons for buying a jeep that puts it above the other makes models that compare for the needs that i have in a vehicle the jeep is whats best for me.

Should I get a Jeep Rubicon or Sahara?
My Bronco died and my dad said he would help buy me a new car. I found a Rubicon and a Sahara for about the same price. I love going mudding and I go to college in Fayetteville, Arkansas. So it definitely wouldn't be stuck on the street, but it will be my primary means of transport. I say Rubicon, but my dad heard that Rubis get worse mileage than Saharas. Is that true, and if so is it horribly worse or just by one or two mpg? And if it really is that much worse, would a Sahara be adequate for getting into some deep mud?

the tire pressure light comes on everytime it is really cold outside 6 and up I checked the tires and they are all okay. Took it to the dealership and the service guy told me that this is normal for the light to come on when it is cold outside, and it will always come on and that there is nothing wrong with your tires its just how the Jeep was made. Can anyone who owns a Jeep who has this tire pressure light confirm this Please
