Question: What is the maximus tire size i can fit on my 98 jeep sahara, thanks.?

I have a 1998 jeep wrangler sahara and I was wondering if anyone knew what the maximum tire size is.

It all depends on the height of the jeep. If its stock, you'll be lucky to get a set of 31s on it. And then from there it depends on the size of the lift. You can go all the way up to 35s or more if you have the lift for it. like i said it just depends!

If it's stock with no lift a 31 will go on with no problem,but getting up to 33 or 34's you might see a little tire rub when you cut the wheel and hit a bump. The best thing to do is bring your Wrangler to any tire shop near you and tell the guys what your looking for. They'll let you know exactly what you need,make suggestions, show you tires and rims and the best part is your not obligated to buy until your ready. Go shop around and check out jeepforum.com!
