Look under the rear at the cover of the differential. If it is oval in shape and has a rubber fill plug it is a Dana 35, If it is octagonal and has a metal fill plug it is a Dana 44 rear axle. There will be a tag attached between two of the bolts at the side of the cover which has the axle part number and gear ratio on it. If you have a limited slip differential there should be a tag on the opposite side of the cover which has "traction modifier must be used " on it, or has something similar to that.

Sahara to a jeep is like saying xlt to a ford explorer, it's just a model designator, albeit on the high end. If you have the Dana 44 rear axle, chances are it also has a limited slip diff; with a dana rear, probably not.
