Question: Purchasign advice for a jeep wranger sahara unlimited 4-dr...?

(Posted by: Stephanie on 2009-10-07 13:35:04)

I have been researching purchasing a newer 07- 08 jeep wrangler 4dr sahara - - maybe unlimited X if the price is right, i will most likely go through a dealership. I have only purchased onl one other vehicle on my own, and did my research on it and was able to talk them down quite a bit from kbb/ nada (this was in july of 2007) what is a reasonable amount to ask on a unlimited sahara around these years - - they normally blue book at 24, 000 - 28, 000 for dealership? i ultimately want to walk out the door between 20500, - 22, 000, i just am not sure if this is a reasonable request, but due to the economy and how selling new cars is down maybe it is? i live in the northwest of washington state - - so i dont know if that helps at all in helping me with demand and all that.. i have several reasons for buying a jeep that puts it above the other makes/ models that compare - - for the needs that i have in a vehicle the jeep is whats best for me.

You sound like you do your homework , stick to your pricing , yes the ecomnomic has hit dealership and it might make it harder due to them not selling as much , however stick to your guns there are enough of thease vehicals out there that you can find what you want, dont be afraid of walking away from a deal ,if there not willing to do what you need them to do or bend as far as you want dont compromise , you know what you want , you know what you want to spend , also dont let them string you along its a tacktic to get you frustrated any dealer in any part of the country will bring the car to you to sell a unit , dont wavier good luck with youre serch

I got a good answer.... dont buy jeeps lol they are garbage cars to be straight up with ya if you want a car like that i would suggest look at maybe a ford or a volvo SUV instead of a jeep.
