Question: Custom upgrades for an '05 jeep wrangler unlimited? (speakers, tires, etc)?

I have a black 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and wanted to trick it out so that it looks pretty cool and is efficient. I'm looking for a list of items that would fit in my Wrangler and exactly what the cost of each item would be along with a picture. I'm hoping to replace all the speakers especially since for some reason the subwoofer doesn't work when I play cd's but works while playing radio?! I have no experience with customizing cars but am looking for somethings I can install with an instruction booklet. Soooo... any suggestions?

I agree with Desert Dust. jeeps were not made to be "tricked out, " per se. jeeps are made for functionality, modify it in such a way that expresses this. personally, i started from the bottom up. my first modifications were unnoticeable, but my jeeps capabilities were increasing (i.e. SYE, radiator, lockers, chromoly axels and full floaters, heavy duty steering, and adjustable trackbars). eventually, i did get around to adding more noticeable modifications that made it look "cool " (lift, tires, bumpers, and body armor). all in good time. the other day while driving down the highway, a little bit of me died inside, i saw a jeep with 20 " rims and low profile tires....i felt the unexplainable urge to test out my hundreds of dollars of body armor by side swipping that "pretty " jeep. it will get expensive, you'll understand the meaning of Just Empty Every Pocket. quadratec.com

Forget the speakers. The road noise in a Jeep is too loud to make it worth the expense. And none of the rest of us want to hear your Jeep. Add a winch, high lift jack, bikini top, big tires mounted on wide rims and a lift kit. Quadratec.com
