To remove doors you need to undo nuts at bottom of hinge pins. They were rusted and one of the threaded ends broke off. |

If just the end where the nut was is busted off, you don't have to replace the pins. As long as the pin is all the way through the hole the doors will stay on (by your description I am thinking this is what has happened). I have not had nuts on the end of my pins in 8 years and have never had a problem with the doors. |

Dealer parts counter if you want the original factory parts. Otherwise there are a couple aftermarket options from any of the usual aftermarket Jeep shops. |

I think that you need to replace the entire hinge. |

I guess I'm missing something here, but I can't see any reason you would need to change the pins, unless they got broken or bent somehow. If that's the case, you really are better off getting a complete set of hinges and changing them out. I can't find pins sold separately - this illustration from MOPAR shows the entire half hinge. chryslerpartscenter.com/ partlocator/ index.cfm?action= getJointLocator &siteid= 215327 &chapter= &Sectionids= 0,3263 &groupid= 51895 &subgroupid= 2392 &componentid= 3467 &make= 17 &model= Wrangler &year= 2003 &graphicID= WJ97640 &callout= 13 &catalogid= 2 &displayCatalogid= 0 |

These pins will continue to do what they are intended to do without the threaded portion on them. I have owned several TJ's and on a couple I ended up cutting that portion off and never had any problems with them. |
