I have a 1994 jeep wrangler that is at stock height. a friend of mine has a set of 33 " mud terrain tires and i was wondering if i need to buy a lift or just some lift shackles to run the tires. as of right now, i am runnin 31 " bfgoodrich all- terrains.

I have a 99 jeep wrangler, 2 inch lift with 33's, drives good, works great off road and in the mud. It'll rub, but new axles are another thing, just throw on some spacers. as of the fenders, you'll be fine.

..probably comes down to turning and rub.. but if u already have 31's.. id go least 4 inches, maybe just body since its cheaper.. but yea, check clearance..

U probabably need a 4 " lift. 33s will raise your gear ratio if you don't have a low geared rear end already.
